One of the very fair points made by someone in reference to the Boston Globe article where Buzzient was mentioned, is that we don’t have updated job listings on our site. Mea Culpa. So, without further ado, here’s what we’re looking for as far at Full Time Hires.
1. Python Developers: Experienced Python Developers. Not C, C#, VB, Java, COBOL, PHP, Perl, Ruby, etc. Those are nice to haves. Python is a MUST have. Seriously. You will be tested upfront to see if you can code, and if the code is usable by other people in a team environment. You can’t learn on the job at Buzzient, since the team is going to rely on you to write productive code from day one. No problem if you don’t know the language now; take a course this summer, read a book, do online testing. Just when you show up for your Buzzient interviews (yes, there will be multiple), you’ll need to live, sleep, eat, and potentially even dream in Python.
2. Presales Engineers: Experienced sales engineers with world class enterprise CRM products. Think Oracle, Siebel, Salesforce, SAP. We will look for one of those “anchor” companies on your resume. You’ll need to be able to work with the CRM apps, but also the Buzzient application as well. So, you’ll need experience with Unix/Linux, MySQL, and ideally, more Python.
3. Inside Sales Representatives: Proven inside sales reps with enterprise products, not SMB or consumer. Must be able to execute on a $500K-$1M quota as a minimum. Ideally, from a CRM/enterprise app company. You’ll need to understand the enterprise buyer and sales cycle as a must.
